Solar Still
A design that is cost effective, and relatively easy to make.
A solar still uses energy from
the sun to purify and collect
clean drinking water. Heat
allows clean water to separate
from dirty water leaving any
substances behind.
Solar Cooker
Easy to make from accessible materials.
A solar cooker is a cooking
device that is completely
powered by the sun's rays. It
uses the thermal energy that is
produced by the sun to direct
heat that can be used for
cooking.
WHO WE ARE
RidAAN GUPTA
Hey! My name is Ridaan Gupta and currently attend Lincoln Community School as a High school Junior (11th Grade). I am extremely interested in solving problems with the help of Math, Physics, and Engineering. With that pursuit, I am working on many projects including an e-bike, water purification system, and now Polar Solar. Apart from this, some of my hobbies include Formula 1, Reading, and Volleyball.

Hi! My name is Cate Pittman and I am currently a high school Senior (12th grade) at the Menlo School in Atherton, California. I am very interested in engineering, environmental science, and sustainability. I have a passion for building and design, specifically solar powered technologies. Along with Polar Solar, my other hobbies include skiing, kayaking, and community service.
